It’s been eleven days since I went back home for some with my family and revitalising my business network, which I have missed over the past 8-months. Interestingly, I met many people from my close or former close environments such as my previous department at Daimler AG, or my career advisors. I met great people at the Daimler Student Partnership – Communications training.
However, above all, the catch up with my friend, I mentioned as my second mentor as well as in the networking post was the most moving and inspiring conversations I had for a long time. I have to say I have met many inspiring people mostly at a specific time or moment in life. Having someone, you admire and grow with time is an uncountable asset to reflect on your evolvement.
Creating a business or startup becomes common today. Including the trivialisation of startup failure (this is a topic I will share my thoughts on in an upcoming blog post) but creating a vision for a vocation to impact the lives of millions by sharing their dreams and passion is holistic. This uniqueness is what she will build up shortly in New York.
Our catch up in Stuttgart at after 2.5 years visualised our past, present and future with reflection on how much we grow in experience and success. We shared the passion for impacting the society and having a desire to give something back.
As soon as she told me about her business idea, I knew that I want to advise her as much as I can and give her support to make her dreams real. My motivation is something she remembered and quoted from Maya Angelou
Your legacy is every life you touch. – Maya Angelou
She referred it to me how I had an impact on her and others. However, the influence of her in others life including mine is breath-taking. To be a part of it and impact further millions of lives through her game-changing vision is an honorary
– It is a legacy for the society.
