This week has been a seamless transition from being a full-time student to be a full-time corporate researcher. I have completed my last written exam of the second semester and with that, finished all lecture assessments for my master’s programme. At the same time, I started the third semester of writing my masters dissertation in collaboration with Daimler AG.

On Wednesday, I had my first day in the Future Trend & Mobility department. The team out of inspirational and creative individuals are researching on exciting research area, that has blown my mind!

I am looking forward to learning more about being a futurist and a researcher within a company. The work atmosphere is unique and distinguishes significantly from my previous experiences.

The expectations of my dissertation are high as it counts 33% of my overall mark. I believe with the collaboration with Daimler AG, and I will have access to resources and experts that will increase the richness of my data and the quality of my analysis. Furthermore, my research area is an emerging trend and will provide a general in-depth understanding of a future field as well as a positive contribution to the research community.

Both aims will be my primary focus for the upcoming four months. I am looking forward to an intensive exciting and highly engaging summer.
